Good locals vibe with great info about the area as well as good coffee, fantastic food, and a bonus that their store had a sale when I was there. Plus they have a mini liquor store!!! Great owners--would definitely recommend!
Escalate was a great time! And Escalante outfitters was the best place for us to stay in this town of less than 1k! The cabin was cute, functional and cozy! We had 2 bunk beds in ours and it was equipped with a much needed heater! And the bathrooms were clean! Praise Jesus! There's a cafe off the office where you can get your much needed nutrition before headed out on your adventure! I will definitely stay here again!
We stopped here while driving through and it was great! They had the best brownie I have ever had in my entire life AND it was $1.50! If you want to share the recipe let me know :)
The place is a combination outdoor store and restaurant with cabins. Excellent Pizza and 'Real' beer. Friendly people. Chop Rock pizza was excellent.
Got served here by a lady named Page, great service. Very good pizza and beer, though $26 for a 16 inch pizza is a bit pricey for me. Would definitely come back here regardless.
